Most-Clicked: Getting Boys Organized

Last week's most-clicked ASCD SmartBrief story introduced us to Ana Homayoun, a math and science tutor who specializes mainly in helping adolescent boys improve their organizational skills.

You'll remember the September '06 EL featured several articles on teaching with "boys in mind." While the education community is still debating what's best for boys, tutors like Homayoun have stepped in to address basic organizational and multitasking skills—skills that many say come easier to girls than boys.

Do teenage boys need more help getting organized? If so, how might schools add support?
